Whoo hooo

Let's have some fun today and try to post some pictures.

This here picture is the 12 Apostles in Australia. It is near Melbourne, on the southern edge of the country, off of a road the Aussies refer to as Great Ocean Road. It looks kinda pretty, and I wish I was there right now. Right. Next photo.

Well that didn't work like I thought it would. Hmm. The other photo is none other than Brett Favre, warming up on a cold November day in 2005. I was there. I said good luck Brett. He nodded his head. At me. Pretty neat. Ok I kinda fixed it so now Brett is below the other picture. It was messed up for a whopping 30 seconds. Next picture! Let's see where they stick this one.

Well yee ha, look at that. It's my silly dog Aspen. She wants a kiss. Won't you give her a kiss? Good on ya mate.

Ok that was fun. I hope you enjoyed my pictures, and if you want to see more, then you best ask nicely. Then again, I guess someone should read this first.

So I'm sitting here at work, and I recall a blog I started, and so I figured why the hell not? Let's post something. So here goes.

I have a $50 bill in my wallet. It's not like your $50 bills though, mine is a bit different. It's yellowish, and has a picture of some funny looking dude. That's right, it's aussie money. I need to get it converted to $35 american, so my wife can have some shopping money. $35 for $50. That sucks. Welllll, it's good right now. You see, I want the exchange rate to be higher for the aussie dollar. I would like it to be where it was back in April 2001....it was around 1.99 aussie for each american dollar. That would mean my wife would get only $25, but guess what...that would also mean that when we move there, we get 1.99 for each dollar. That will be a lot of money when I sell my house and transfer it to aussie dollars. We are currently at 1.39 or so, so per $100,000 transferred, we are talking about a $60,000 difference. Yup. Big money. So what's the point? Can you do me a favor and next time you get the chance to make a wish, wish that the aussie dollar gets back up to 1.99 for every american dollar. That would just make my day.

Ok that's all I have for today. I wonder if anyone will ever read this. Only time will tell.

Good bye.
